• After my father died there was no one who are supporting me, my mother has no job and my grandmother is elderly person, my mother could go and dig for people and she will be given a food items or small amount of money in order to put food on our table, sometimes she goes to the bush to collect wild fruits or vegetables, sometimes we may go without food for two days.
After HFL:
✓ When HFL started supporting us life has already changed we received maize floor and beans which is sustaining us, hope has come back and happiness HFL is also supporting us spiritual by conducting Bible study programs, children's camp, door to door Evangelism which is supporting our spiritual growth.

• Before HFL, I really encountered a lot of challenges due to the loss of my parents during war in South Sudan, life was hard, no food no school because my uncle had no enough, what he could do is to go and struggle for a day and wait for another day, so there was no change day by day.
• So my uncle decided to bring me to Uganda. Things were at least fair but then the cutting of ratio made life uneasy again.
After HFL:
✓ But when HFL came in and found me, they started supporting, and life became fair, we had food. Through HFL my uncle really gain hope and thank the organization for the support, Thanks

• Before HFL started, life was really not easy at all in our side, after the death of my husband, we lost every support he was giving us, but in all that the worse was the outbreak of war in South Sudan which broke as totally, we became homeless when we ran into the bush for safety. From there I decided to see way out to reach to Uganda.
• No food, no school fees for my four children, secondly, since UN cut off support for refugees, things were hard at my side, I could go looking for what to do and get for a day to feed my children but no work, and I can't handle the responsibilities by myself alone, I could go look for where to dig for someone and get food to bring for the children.
After HFL:
✓ When HFL started supporting, I feel a great changes in my being, no more spending days without food.
✓ It has reduced the cost of family expenses, through their support by giving food items.
✓ Our lives are sustained though UN cut off ratio from refugees.
