Who We Are
Serving the community of Adjumani, Uganda
About Heavenly Father's Love Mission
Founded in early 2024, Heavenly Father's Love Mission has been making a difference in the lives of South Sudanese refugees in Uganda.
Our Vision
Our vision is to see lives changed, souls saved, disciples of Christ made, communities transformed, the Gospel proclaimed to the poor and the kingdom of God revealed.
Our Mission
Our mission is to share God's love in tangible and practical forms by bringing healing, hope and life in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our History
The pre-history of HFL Mission began in early 2022 when Bevan Stein, a well-established missionary for many years in Slovakia and Ukraine, began to feel a burden to help relieve the suffering of South Sudanese refugees in Uganda. In addition, he desired to help brothers and sisters in Christ who were in immediate need of food, clothing, housing, medical attention and spiritual encouragement.
To accomplish this he needed a local partner. As it turns out, one of Bevan's existing Facebook friends, James Kenneth Jasay, whom Bevan was already helping extensively, was recommended to him by various Ugandan contacts to be that local partner. Together with James and his wife Jacklin, Bevan led the growing ministry from his own resources until early 2024 when Heavenly Father's Love Mission Limited was officially established and Bevan found Servants of Christ International to be the U.S. 501c3 organization to handle donations.
Under the leadership of Bevan Stein as International Director, and James Kenneth as National Director, HFL has continued to expand both in breadth and depth to become a leading ministry in refugee camps in Adjumani district, Uganda.

Our Core Values
- To love God with all our heart, mind and strength and to love our neighbor as ourselves
- To serve the poor and the needy, especially orphans and widows
- To be compassionate towards the weak physically, spiritually and emotionally
- To follow the principles of Mathew 5:16, Matthew 25:31-40; Gal 6:2,10
Our Faith Statement
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven, by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate through the Virgin Mary, and was made man. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of Life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who with the Father and the Son is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the Prophets. We believe in one holy universal and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come.
